Alex Valdes

Alex Valdes is a business litigation attorney with Winstead PC. Alex represents agencies and business clients in a variety of administrative and litigation matters, as well as in transactional business dealings involving contractual negotiations or statutory compliance questions.
Alex has served on the boards of several local nonprofit groups, including the United Way Young Leaders Society and the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin Charitable Foundation. Alex is President of the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin and serves as the organization's representative to HOWTO Austin. Alex has also served as a legal advisor to the Star of Texas Fair and Rodeo as a member of its Legal and Safety Committee.
Alex attended Texas A&M University, where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets. After college, Alex attended law school at Baylor University, serving as Executive Editor of the Baylor Law Review. Alex lives in Southwest Austin, with his wife, Candice, and their three children.
