The Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has several programs and initiatives that assist in the growth and development of the Greater Austin region.
Advocacy
The Advocacy Committee reviews and recommends action by the GAHCC on public policy issues that are consistent with our vision and mission.
Conventions & Tourism
The GAHCC recruits national, state and local Hispanic organizations to hold their conventions in Austin.
Economic Development
The Economic Development Department focuses on supporting local businesses through our Access to Capital Triage Program, by providing information on Small Business Certification and by placing Job/Career Opportunities and promoting Bid Opportunities on our website.
Education
The Education Committee focuses on eliminating the achievement gap in public education.
Health & Wellness
The Health & Wellness Committee provides advocacy, leadership and education on health and wellness practices to insure optimal workforce productivity.
Hispanic Organizations Working Together as One (HOWTO)
HOWTO is an alliance comprised of 10 partnering professional Hispanic organizations.
Social Media Ambassadors
Social Media Ambassador Program intends to create plenty of buzz across the web on behalf of GAHCC’s worthy efforts in the local community.
