      Luisa Gaviño-Martinez, Chair of the GAHCC Access to Capital Committee

      Luisa Gaviño-Martinez is a Business Relationship Manager for Wells Fargo Bank.  She manages a portfolio of business accounts and loan relationships and is responsible for servicing these customers in addition to sourcing new business opportunities.  Her focus is business loans and/or banking services for businesses with $2MM-$20MM in gross annual revenues. She has been employed with Wells Fargo for over 8 years.  She graduated from Stanford University with an M.A. and a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in U.S. Latino Studies.

      Luisa has served on the Board of the Austin Chapter of the Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT) for over 5 years; she also served two terms as Ambassador for the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  She is a founding and current Board Member of the Wells Fargo Central Texas Diversity Council and a founding member of Amigos Austin, a Wells Fargo Team Member Resource Group. These internal organizations focus on the retention, development and involvement of diverse talent within the company.  She was recognized as HWNT’s 2009 Estrella de Tejas and eWomen’s Network 2008 International Femtor Emerging Leader Finalist.

      Luisa is originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, grew up in Southern California and has lived in the Austin area for over 9 years.  She is married to Carlos Martinez, a mechanical engineer and native Texan.  Together they have two daughters.
