Elva Tristan Graduates from Emerging Enterprises

Elva Tristan, Owner of Integrated Internet, successfully completed the business incubator program at Emerging Enterprises.

Integrated Internet, an Austin based software engineering company, provides internet solutions to local businesses.  Services include custom software development, web design, database solutions, internet marketing, graphic design, content maintenance and usability consulting to clients requiring a web presence.  With 20 years of combined IT experience as a Data Analyst, System Analyst, and Project Manager, Elva delivers informed customer service to her clients. Recently, Elva moved to the Austin area seeking new technology concepts and ways to expand her business.

As an up-and-coming entrepreneur, Elva had some reservations due to her uncertainty of business concepts and knowledge on how to remain financially stable during these hard economic times.  Through Emerging Enterprises, Elva overcame her uncertainties by learning how to remain focused on her business plan while analyzing potential failures and gains. “Having a comprehensive business plan is the best guide for business management, marketing strategies, and organizational structure. A business without direction loses its cash flow projections and can easily be a candidate for failure,” states Elva. Throughout the program, Elva’s goal was to develop a strategic plan to produce two self-developed web-based applications that would expand and increase her sales.

With the program at its end, we asked if she would recommend Emerging Enterprises to future entrepreneurs, Elva responded, “Most definitely!  I wish I would have had this kind of guidance back in 2002, when I first thought of chartering my own business.  Doing business the right way is a huge credit to our company.  Having the right players to assist you gives you added confidence and relief.  I will be linking and blogging about my experience on my own website; hopefully, to assist new business owners to get involved with Emerging Enterprises.  Big thanks from Integrated Internet. “
