Emerging Enterprises offers FREE courses to help your business venture grow to success.  The next series of classes begins in January.

Technology Class—10 weeks
Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00-9:00 p.m.
This program is focused on technology, emphasizing the use of computers to increase work productivity and effectiveness. Basic computer concepts included are: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Power Point), electronic mail and the use of the Internet as a tool to perform business research and information retrieval. The technology track will emphasize the use of spreadsheets to emulate business scenarios to improve the decision-making process for entrepreneurs. 

Business Class—11 weeks
Saturdays 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

This portion of the curriculum is related to management and business processes. Topics such as marketing, advertising, business plan development and capital acquisition strategies are taught. This class will be enhanced by guest speaker seminars on legal aspects of business, implementing “green” business practices and lending, including conventional and non-conventional loans.

We also offer Free business advice and consulting services for our clients from representatives of Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE).
