      campus2careers

The GAHCC has partnered with campus2careers, the world’s first online career community to match college students and recent grads with opportunities at small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), start-ups, and non-profits exclusively.  campus2careers moves on-campus recruiting online, offering SMBs an effective and affordable way to fill entry-level jobs, internships, and part-time work.  More than a job board, campus2careers uses preferences, skills, enhanced filters and rich digital profiles to reduce the guesswork and time to hire in the recruiting process.

By bridging the campus and the community, employers can benefit from well educated, less expensive resources and students can get access to hidden jobs and internships.  “With the high under/unemployment rates amongst the college graduating populations (60% from 2009 and 75% from 2010), campus2careers is an important economic development enabler for both students and businesses” says Nayeli Gallegos, Director of Economic Development for the GAHCC.

If your organization is looking to fill an entry-level, internship or contract position, go wo www.campus2careers.com and click on the Join Now button and follow the instructions provided.  The site is currently free for all GAHCC Members and has students from all area colleges on the site.  If you have any questions please send an e-mail to info(at)campus2careers.com.
