The Foundation provides education benefits through programs that enhance the general welfare of the Central Texas Hispanic community. The GAHCC impacts the education of Hispanics through education advocacy which strives to emphasize the importance of education and eliminate the student achievement gap for a more competitive workforce.
After 37 years of serving the community, the GAHCC continues to stand by its mission to build our members’ wealth. Our vision, to foster Hispanic businesses as a leading force towards economic growth, drives our organization’s pillars of economic development, workforce development, business networking, and community and policy advocacy.
Proceeds
Proceeds from the Golf Classic will support the following GAHCC education initiatives:
- Development programs for middle school students
- Family support centers
- Dual language programs

Putting Contest: 11:30 a.m.
Shot Gun Start: 1:30 p.m.
Awards Dinner: 6:00 p.m.

- Sold out tournament, with 144 players
- Over $17,000 raised for scholarships
- All players were photographed with Miss Texas Latina USA, Valerie Velasquez
- Prizes: 2010 Chevy Malibu, $500 Visa Check Card, Bose Sound System, Nike golf clubs
- Sponsors: Walmart, IBM, Titus Electric, Watkins Insurance, Zubi Modular Concepts, The Pavilion at Great Hills and ESPN
