Faces of the Americas/Rostros de las Am้ricas

A dynamic speaker series bringing the business and academic communities together on issues concerning U.S. and Latin American business:

•  Organized in partnership between the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies (LLILAS) at the University of Texas, the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC), and Univision Austin.

•  Focuses on conditions affecting business opportunities between the U.S. and Latin America and effective strategies for reaching Hispanic audiences in the U.S.

•  Explores current events, politics, education, and the environment among other topics.

•  Features talks by experts in their fields from Latin America and the U.S. and in-depth Q&A sessions.

•  Takes place six times a year. Four talks held at the Mexican American Cultural Center in downtown Austin. Two talks will be held at another local venue.

•  Preceded by reception and coffee tasting, featuring coffees from throughout Latin America.

•  Anticipated audience size is 75–100 people per talk.
