Williamson County Small Business & Education Summit

The Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC) invites you to attend the first ever Williamson County Small Business & Education Summit on March 12th at the Marriott Hotel in Round Rock, Texas. [Agenda]
The event will focus on business outlook in 2010, small business opportunities and how business can positively affect educational and community opportunities for the area’s future workforce. Partnering Chambers of Commerce include Cedar Park, Georgetown, Hutto, Leander, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Taylor and the Williamson County African Chamber.
GAHCC President Andy Martinez says, “The Williamson County Summit will result in providing regional resources to the business owners in the Williamson County area. In collaboration with our neighboring Chambers, we hope that the summit will emphasize the importance of taking care of business!”
Anticipating over 300 attendees, the event will be emceed by Univision TV’s General Manager, Luis Patiño, and will feature Texas Secretary of State Esperanza “Hope” Andrade and Texas Commissioner of Higher Education Raymund A. Paredes. The event will also have four breakout sessions covering the following topics: Education in the Region, Small Business Opportunities, Small Business in the Community and Access to Capital for Small Business.
