Chris Rios

Christopher Rios is an experienced banking and risk management professional.  He is currently an Assistant Vice President at Texas Capital Bank, where he specializes in credit risk analysis and portfolio management for the Austin, TX commercial market.

Christopher currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC).   He is a graduate of the GAHCC’s  Hispanic Austin Leadership (HAL) program and now serves as the Director of the HAL Alumni (HALA) association.

Active in the community, Christopher also serves on the Board of Directors of CommUnityCare (CUC), Travis county’s largest public health care system with 25 locations. CUC’s mission is to provide quality primary and specialty health care services to the underserved population of the community.  CUC health centers provide approximately 300,000 medical and dental patient appointments annually

Christopher is also a member of the National Association of Public Health Centers (NACHC), an INDIEpendent ambassador of the Austin Film Society, a member of the Austin Young Chamber of Commerce, and a graduate of the A.I.S.D. UpClose education advocacy program.

A native of Laredo, TX, Christopher is a proud graduate of the Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.  He is a strong advocate for local economic and workforce development, leadership development, public health services, education, and the arts.  In his spare time, he enjoys attending various sporting events and film / music festivals that our amazing Austin community offers.
