This 4-hour hands-on workshop is designed for entrepreneurs looking to build a strong business plan. In this session, you will work on your own business plan using simple templates and free tools. Learn how to estimate start-up costs, analyze your market, and evaluate your competition. With a working lunch break and group discussions to help break up the day, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and overcome common challenges. This workshop is eligible for the City of Austin Business Skills Certificate Program. The instructor is Vicky Valdez, Professor of Entrepreneurship at ACC and Small Business owner.

We have added a minimal number of Virtual Accommodate tickets for this session. This is a hands-on workshop, and the content is best experienced as an in-person session because participants will be working on a business plan document during the session. We have added a small number of virtual tickets, in an effort to accommodate those who are truly unable to attend in person. The virtual option does provide full access to class content, but we highly recommend attending in person if possible, for amore inteactive experience and for the networking opportunities. Please choose either an in-person ticket or a virtual ticket - DO NOT register for both. To allow as many people as possible to particpant, duplicate registrations may be canceled.
