AUSTIN, TEXAS – Five local leaders will be honored by the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC) during the 2020 Celebrando Austin Gala set for October 8, 2020 during Hispanic Heritage Month. The signature event, presented by Ascension Seton and sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka will celebrate the 47 years the GAHCC has served the Greater Austin area and feature special guest Congressman Lloyd Doggett. This year’s virtual celebration — to start with a VIP experience at 5:30 p.m. followed by an award ceremony at 6 p.m. — will include a tribute to longstanding pioneers, local heroes and citizens we have lost.
