“The GAHCC has been helping to get people food and water, and through outreach and volunteering with local distributions, we noticed there is still a great need for diapers and wipes. In setting up the diaper drive with our fellow chambers, we hope to offer the community a few consistent locations to donate so we may then supply the ongoing distributions in the city,” said Stephanie Bazan, Director of Communications, Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The recent winter storm in the Austin area has led to an increased need for diapers and wipes. All donations will be distributed to community members in need and people are encouraged to spread the word about the diaper drive and use the hashtag #diapersforATX.
