The Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Stephanie Bazan as the Director of Communications, Signature Events & Programs


Austin, Texas - The Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GAHCC) is pleased to announce its recent hire, Stephanie Bazan, who will serve as the Director of Communications, Signature Events & Programs.

In this newly created position, Bazan will support initiatives that are key to the GAHCC's sustainability and growth, which include overseeing the Chamber's prestigious leadership program, Hispanic Austin Leadership (HAL).

"I was drawn to the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's commitment to heritage and promise to propel the Austin Hispanic business community," said Bazan. "I'm proud to join the GAHCC familia and continue the important work of the Chamber."

Bazan brings over 15 years of communications experience across a multitude of industries along with a solid background in event coordination. As a former small business owner and previous Director of Marketing at LifeWorks, she has been instrumental in enhancing messaging and strengthening brands.

"The GAHCC is excited to have Stephanie join our dynamic team. With her extensive experience and proven leadership in the Austin community, we have found the perfect fit to help continue the momentum and grow our programs," said Luis Rodriguez, President & CEO of the GAHCC.

Bazan is a native Austinite, proud St. Edward's University Hilltopper, and currently serves on the Hispanic Impact Fund Steering Committee, The Junior League of Austin Leadership Team, and is an active volunteer for several non-profits including Latinitas and Wayside Schools.
