In this newly created position, Bazan will support initiatives that are key to the GAHCC's sustainability and growth, which include overseeing the Chamber's prestigious leadership program, Hispanic Austin Leadership (HAL).

Bazan brings over 15 years of communications experience across a multitude of industries along with a solid background in event coordination. As a former small business owner and previous Director of Marketing at LifeWorks, she has been instrumental in enhancing messaging and strengthening brands.

Bazan is a native Austinite, proud St. Edward's University Hilltopper, and currently serves on the Hispanic Impact Fund Steering Committee, The Junior League of Austin Leadership Team, and is an active volunteer for several non-profits including Latinitas and Wayside Schools.
